Cd cover analysis 6

This cd cover is of Christina Aguilera people may not know it was her but the artists name is included on the album cover. The CD Cover is fairly basic with only the album name and artists name. Perhaps this doesn't follow the conventional terms of a cd cover. The bionic side of Christina Aguilera(right side of her face) is linked with the album name. The shot type is a medium/ close or known as direct mode of address whereby Christina is looking right at the audience. The CD cover itself is of bare minimal, know information, or websites are provided, no ratings on what the album is like. This is a sense is unconventional because their is so much space where more information could be provided. However having the bare minimal on the cover makes the shot of her stand out, it could be argued that this is an example of commercial exhibitionist and that she is trying to create a overall image which she wants her audience to associate when they hear or see her name. In some respect she is as wacky just like Lady Gaga.
